Have you ever found yourself up a creek without a paddle? Have you ever been on a sailing ship, far out in the ocean and the wind disappeared for days or weeks. have you every been so short of breath that you couldn’t blow out a single birthday candle? Have you stopped smoking and drinking milk!
Anyone still living, that has been born on this earth in the past century, knows about man going out into space. Have you heard about a man in a rowboat, out in space with out any oars ? This is going to be a story about that woman who never liked the idea of insurance, but loved to travel.
Now think about this, if it were you out there in space, how would you move your-self from one spot to another or around? Remember there is nothing else out there just you in a rowboat.
If an astronaut in space, goes out side of the capsule or space vehicle, how does he move himself around.? Did you say with a life line or a jet device designed for that purpose. If that person had a small problem with his stomach and was expelling ( farting) gas, would or could that make him move? If one had a device ( like a fan blowing against space), would there be enough rĂ©sistance against that space to move that person? Would a fan blade with handle to crank, manually, do the same thing? Can’t a sound wave move things ?
Another thing I have wondered about is; if a man in a space suit has a runny nose when out side the capsule, what does he do? What if he has to sneeze? In the world of Astrophysics , they refer to time and space as being the same. The rate that sound travels and the speed that light travels, is a bit confusing to me. When I walk down a hill, I seem to go faster than when I am going up hill. They say this is due to gravity,
But when I have to get to a bath room in a hurry, I seem to move much faster up hill. Would you say, that will power is the reason for this? Sometimes one’s muscles and tendons won’t work fast enough and the person may need to be hosed down before they can enter the house. What happened to will power, it must have been weak. ?
Have you ever spent a night in a strange place ( like a motel ) and woke up in the night and had to get to that special place, but you went out the wrong door and now you are on the outside and that person doesn’t have the room key to get back inside? Some people never learn. Who would sleep with a room key around their neck on a chain? Go ahead and knock on that door, but remember you are there all alone! Since you were alone. you decided not to wear pajamas, old men do that at times, but you are not a man, are you? Remember, only God, forgives. But he expects something from you before he acts, did you say your prayers before going to bed?
Who told you that the road ahead had no curves. And while you are at the check-in desk, ask them for a road map! They won’t laugh at you until you have gone back to your room.
At six am sharp, the phone rings and some one says, this is your courtesy six am wake up call, you thank them, but you never left a request for a six am call. You get up, take a shower and apply your make up and dress for the day. Pack your bags and call for someone to help take the luggage to your car. Then you go for breakfast and the people all around you are whispering to one an other, Is that all about you being locked out with no clothing on ?
The eggs were over cooked, the toast was burnt and cold. What ever that was in your cup, it was un-drinkable. That long strip of charcoal must have been the bacon. The waitress hands you the check and the amount of the tip they have written down, is twice the amount of the meal. So you pay the cashier, look out the window. It’s cloudy and raining, You open your purse and take out a small bottle, taking a hand full of pills.
Since your luck has been less than your expectations, I would recommend that you keep your feet here on the earth. Traveling in space is not for everyone. Buy yourself a few tickets on the Merry-go-round and get some cotton candy. Your bus won’t be back for several hours.
