Man is his own worst Enemy,

Are you a Motor mouth? Do you know someone who you think is a Motor Mouth?

Do you know what a Motor mouth is? Lets compare notes and see if we believe the same. To Me, A motor mouth is a person that talks and talks saying the same thing over and over to as many people as possible. She or He, thinks of themselves as being more news worthy than a news paper or a radio station. It makes no difference if what they say is true or false. These people do a great amount of damage to people and a business that is mentioned in the story they tell. The people or the business has no recourse, often are unable to make a charge against that person as they is no proof of who said what!

A story will start off like this: I tell you that I bought some fresh vegetables and a farmers market. I tell you that while they were fresh, they were not clean and they had bugs on them. She or he talks to someone else this information is passed on to others.

As human nature goes, Person, number one tells the story to number two person and it is passed on until ten people have heard the story. Now that tenth person retells the story to you, not knowing that you told it first, The story is not the story you told to start with, So to you it is a different story.

Each person that hears the story, will not be able to remember it per baton, so they will change it’s wording a little here and there. Some will tell it like they want to hear it, thinking it will be better told. Soon the story has changed so much, it is a totally different story.

Now the story is: A local well known store, sold vegetables to customers that were poison and a number of people had gotten sick and died. The store is boycotted and customers start trading elsewhere and slowly it goes out of business. Thirty people lose their jobs, The store is gone. The distributor of the fresh fruits and vegetables loses business and the distributor has to close up. It’s a chain reaction from the beginning to the end. This happen much too often and you never know why. Some times you ask, why does one business fail when another of the same kind of business will succeed?

Today, there are not just motor mouth people out there, But there are motor mouths that run on diesel, and I pods, e-mail and cell phones and other new communication battery operated devices This false and un-true information is being passed on so fast there is no possible way to control it.

People talk and they do not think before they say something that can destroy a business or the reputation of a person. Today, we all complain about Congress and the bad things they do or don’t do.

What can be dome about the false things that people say? The only thing I can do is; Be careful of what I say, think before I say it. And I hope you will do the same and tell others to be careful and why they need to be careful.

Common sense appears to be lost for some people ………………………..
