Hearts of stone will sink to the bottom of a lake, in a stream or from tears of sadness. The beating of your heart was not meant to last forever. When new hearts arrive, old hearts have to make room for them. Some are even meant to replace your old one. Now don’t fuss, that is the way of life with all earth angels.
We are here for but a short time and we should be preparing for what ever lies beyond. So many get set in their ways here on the earth, they are reluctant to release the hold on what they already have. Are you and I so sure, that what is to come, is not the best of all there is? Do you have what you want, or do you want more then you have. I do wish you would get your own tooth brush and stop using mine.
Don’t look at me that way with your big eyes and your ears hanging down like that. Just because you are a dog doesn’t mean you don’t understand. The fact is, you know more than most people. How about us finding something to eat? I am so hungry and you are always ready to eat. That really made your tail wag didn’t it! There is a café just down the street, let’s go in there. Okay, you keep your nose down and keep you paw’s off the table. Maybe that waitress won’t notice you seating back in the corner there. I’ll order for both of us,
Is there anything special that you want? Hamburger! Do you want that cooked or raw? Raw it is then. What do you want to drink? I don’t think they serve beer here, it will have to be coffee, milk or water. Water with no ice. okay!
Keep your nose down, here comes the waitress, ”Hi Miss” I’ll have a hambugger paddy “raw” and a regular burger “ with everything on it to go” . An order of French fries and cup of coffee. And I also want a small soup bowl with cool water no ice please, so I can rinse my fingers off. Oh yeah, one small scoop of vanilla ice cream.

“Okay, okay” settle down and “stop wagging you tail so fast” and don’t get so excited She will bring the food to us as soon as it is ready. Stop trying to peek over the table, there is no one in here that we know. Here come our food now. Thanks miss, That will be it for now!
