Once upon a time, in a land that has been long forgotten, there was a mountain range that had the tallest mountain in the world. I don’t know if this mountain had a name or not.
At the bottom of this great mountain there were green lush meadows and pastures with soils that would grow almost anything. The land was dotted with small farms and towns for as far as the eye could see. As one would go up the mountain, it would become steeper and steeper to where the trees were thicker and thicker. Up above the timber line was snow, the higher one went the more snow and ice was found, The wind blew so hard, one couldn’t even stand up, with-out being blown away. It was so cold that ice cycles were shivering.
This is where most mountains would stop, but this mountain kept on going. Up above the cold and snow was solid rock that went so high that the heat from the sun. touched the tip of the peak. There were no trees or anything else, from there on, just hard rock. At the bottom of this rock, there were cracks and places where rock had slid away. Some of the cracks were large enough for a Man or even an Elk walk in to them or hide there.
A story was once told, about a young man that was determined to climb to the top of this great mountain, So one day he started off and people watched him for as far as they could see and then they used telescopes after that. The man had made his way up through the trees and the snow and then they lost sight of him when he entered the fog and blowing snow. It was so cold and the air so thin at that height, no one could breath there. They were all sure, that the young man was dead and he would never be seen again.
What no one knew, was he entered a crack in the rock that led him far inside the rock top. Where it opened up into a land of warmth with streams of water, fruits and eatable vegetables. He also found many other animals living and thriving there. It was Shangri-La or the garden of Eden. It has been said that the young man lived to be quite old. He had a gray beard so long that it was being stepped on and he was wise beyond his years.
The animals were called Mr. Or Mrs. Deer, Or Mr. or Mrs. Rabbit and so on. There was but one man and no one knew his name. When he was asked, he would say, it’s been so long that he has forgotten it. The mountain was a place where every animal lived in harmony with nature. Man, was the only one that did not have a mate. He was the one that all the other animals would come to for answers to their questions and he treated all the animals injuries and took care of the sick.
Most of the animals lived to be an old age and then they passed on. New born would replace them and nature would maintained a balance of the living and dead. The animals wanted to elect the man as their leader. But could not decide what to call their leader. He wasn’t a King or was he a God, he was just special, and needed a special name. Man didn’t want to be called anything special, so he wouldn’t say what they should call him. This place was so beautiful, birds of all colors could be seen. You could hear them singing along with the Angels singing and playing their harps.
At the far end, there was a path with steps leading to a higher place. At the end, there was a very large area, Where Men, Women and Children, were setting in chairs and many others, were just standing around! There was another entrances into this area, the second came from the land below the mountain. On the far side there two double doors that appeared to be elevators. Between them was a lone figure of a man, with the whitest hair and a long white beard. He sat at a desk with a thick book on the desk, before him. There was very long line of people, leading up to his desk. He would open the book and read, then send the people to the right or to the left. The doors would open and close and no one appeared to know where they went! Let us assume that one went to a Bad place and the other went to a place for the Good.
All men, women and children, will go to one or the other, and you have to make a choice now, before it is too late! The question is: will I see you there ?
