Say hello to Little Feller. He is a pet rooster to some close friends and relatives of ours. He fell from his nest when he was only one day old. He was picked up and taken into the house, a place for him was made in a box and under a heated bulb. They fed him oat meal and took real good care of him, care was so good that he begin to think he was a member of the family,
As he grew, he demanded the run of the house and got it. He would let them know when he wanted to go outside. If they did not pay atention to him, he would raise a ruckus, worse than a spoiled brat. They are became slaves to Little Feller, as they thought he was so cute. He follows them where ever they go, If they are going to set out side and enjoy some sun, He has his own chair to set in. If the cat happens to be in it, he will run the cat off.
Soon he will be getting in to the truck or car, wanting to go along where ever they are going some place.
He love to be with them and sets on the couch and watches TV in the evenings. One of his favorite places to set, Is on the back of a horse that my friend has. I am told that the horse really don’t like that much. My friend didn’t say, but I think Little Feller has a place at the kitchen table when they eat a meal. He loves to eat at the picnic table outside.

My friend George has taught him how to find grass hoppers and to pick them up, but when he finds one he will always take it to George. He does not care for the other chickens much. From the back of the horse he will crow like the king of the mountain. My friends tells me, they do not need an alarm clock to wake them in the mornings, Little Feller has taken over that job.
This rooster has a lady friend, A crow, and they take their baths together in a pan full of water. It won’t be long before the rooster will be wanting to get in the car with George and his wife, and go with them.
I think my friend George is going to claim him as a dependant on his Federal Income Tax form, this year, Can he do that?
The next thing will be, the bird will be wanting to barrow the car. By this time George will be having chicken soup, made with the old bird.
Pictures show that the bird gets to set at the picnic table out-side. George talks to the bird and the bird listens, but you can’t understand what he is saying, if you don’t understand chicken language. George is getting so he understands chicken talk and acts a lot like a old rooster himself.
Come on George, it’s time to feed the bird again.
