"Chapter Two" (Hu & Hohu)

We left the family searching for a new place to live, “Hohu’s” mother rejected the small apartment and returned to her home in the jungle, where ever that was.

“Hu”, had found a four bedroom apartment with two baths and a single car garage. And it only cost him an arm and two leg each month. So he is still searching and would like to get a place in the country. They are not farmers and really don’t know much about living on a farm. “Hohu” would like to have a milk cow and some chickens. The kids all want Ponys and one wants a dog.

The apartment complex caters to larger families and will allow them to have pets. People in the apartment upstairs have six boys and four girls or maybe it is the other way around.

The father of this family is called “Hik” and the wife is “Hoky”. The oldest boy is called “Flat Head”, he is from “Hopy’s” first marriage along with” G.O”. & “Me first”. Then comes the boys, “Hi Hat” & “Camper”, and “No”. One can’t tell if some of these kids are girls or boys, but I know for a fact that there are four boys in this family. The girls according to age, are: “Or”, “Up”, “G.O.”, Some one appears to be missing so keep an eye open for them.

The boys and girls of these two families were attracted to each other, many married and had families and some just got together and had children. “Flat Head” married to “Or” and they had six, kids, dogs, and cats. “Hi Hat” and ‘Camper” married the twins, “Up” and “G.O.”

A son of “Hu” & “Holu” got a really good education and became the best Lawyer Around. A daughter of “Hik” & “Hopy” was charged with a crime and the Lawyer son was defending her. They won the case and she sued her accuser and received Several million dollars.

Now “Hu’ and “Hopy”never had a jog and they were always dependant on Welfare. “Hu” & “Hohu” had good jobs, but they just didn’t earn enough money to support a large family.

The daughter of “Hik” & “Hopy” the one that won the award of millions, bought a Horse Stable that took care of horses for those that had no place to keep them, The Stable was going out of business and was up for sale and she bought it.
It had a big old barn that could be remodeled and turned into bed rooms and a dinning room with kitchen. It was large enough to accommodate both families and give each some privacy. after they came to an agreement, both families moved to the ranch in the country.

Well, after a time had passed and one thing had led to another, the money was gone. No one could pay the taxes or keep the place up. Everyone wanted to play and no one wanted to work. They were about to lose the ranch and they decided to turn it was turned over to the county, with only one condition, it was to be used as a home for the needy, along with their families.

Now with the number of fathers and mothers, Brothers and sisters, kids, grand kids. Along with all the Great grand kids that would be arriving soon. Those that lived on the horse ranch would be responsible for the labor to keep the place up in shape. Living on this ranch was the best thing that had ever happened, for all concerned

That was when the fire started and the only thing left standing was the Mail Box. With the number 1043 on it. No one could explain what that number ever meant.

Now, Nature has a way of making bad thing go away and this is when the Dam up stream broke, all you can find now, where the horse ranch was, is river front property and it doesn’t come cheap.

“Hu” is now a big shot Mayor in city in the east, His wife “Hoby” is a traveling speaker, that speaks on most things concerning people and is sought after by everyone. Hik and his wife have a furniture building factory, and are rich beyond their wildest dreams,

Kids and Grand kids are scattered from the east coast to the west coast and Great, great grand kids are found all around the world. This really is a small place we live in…………Stop in for coffee or tea when you are in the area.
