The Goat that gave Chocolate milik

A Goat named Billie,

A goat named Billie and she gave Chocolate milk. Anything is possible if you have an imagination. Billie was around seven years of age and born on a small farm in west Airello in the valley of the moon. It was a large family of goats and there was always something special about this little goat.

While the other goats were running and jumping around, Billie was reading everything she could find. She was well informed for a goat. Her coat was always combed and clean and she always crossed her legs when she sat down. You would never see or find another goat so well mannered as Billie. She listened with interest to everything that was said, but she wasn’t what you would call nosey or snoopy.

The mother goat was worried about this little goat as she appeared to have a social problem and didn’t want to get friendly with the other goats. But the mother thought, she is young and she will change as she grows with age. But this didn’t happen.

Then one day another farmer drove his truck in to the yard and he had two Swan in the back of the truck. This farmer went into the house and after speaking with the owner of the farm, for what seemed to be hours, came out, they unloaded the Swan and loaded four of the farmers sheep on the truck and he drove away. Billie had no idea as to what was going on.

A few day later, a big truck drove into the farmer’s yard with a big load of all kinds of things. All the farm animals were curious, but none so much as Billie! The men sat up a machine and started drilling a hole in the ground and this continued for over a week. illie had still not heard what was going on. One day Billie got a little too close to the hole and almost fell into it. But one of the workers grabbed her and held onto her and told her to go play elsewhere.

It wasn’t long before there was a lot of excitement around the hole and water came flowing from the open hole. It made a stream of water running down to a low place in the yard and it started to fill up with water. The two Swan were the first to make it down to the water. Then the other animals came to see what was going on. Now every Animal was wadding in, and drinking the water. Then without any warning, the stream stopped. The animals were all standing in mud and had no idea what had happened.

The farmer and the workmen stood around and talked, They had decided to put up a wind mill to pump the water from the ground and the work men went to work once again and in a few days there was a tall wooden tower standing with a huge fan-blade at the top. When all the work was done, they started the fan moving and there was a lot of squeaking and weird noises coming from this thing. It wasn’t long before water was once again coming from the ground and the puddle was growing larger and larger.
The Swam were flapping their wings and jumping with joy as they stood and watched. Billie stood a watched as the workmen went up and down the ladder, doing this and that until they were sure that everything was going to work. Billie thought to herself, boy, that would be a neat place to be, where one could look and see from one end of the farm to the other end. When no one was looking, Billie would try to climb up the ladder.

It didn’t take long before Billie had that part mastered. One day, Billie made it all the way to the top and stood there looking and looking, she spent the night there and all the next day. She never wanted to be on the ground again.

About that time, Billie was thinking, how am I going to get down from up here, She could look down and see the Swan swimming back and forth on the water below. She thought if I just had wings like the Swan, I could fly or glide down to the ground, The little goat walked from one side to the other, looking to see what was below. No wagon loaded with hay or other soft place to catch her. There was this big round tank at the base of this tower that was filled with water that came from the well, but that was not good idea. Billie thought to herself, How will I ever get down from here. Maybe she could get down by reversing the way she got up here, why not give this a try. As she edged her way to the ladder and started down, She slipped and down she came landing in the tank with water. After spiting and catching her breath. Billie thought, that wasn’t so bad, with a little practice I could master this and it could be fun.

Within a few days, Billie was back on the top of the windmill looking at everything that was going on around the farm and country side. When she was ready, she would step over the side and down into the tank of water. The farm animals were all watching and soon the farmer was watching and was thinking, if I sold some tickets to people that would like to watch, I could earn a few extra dollars.

Soon after, the farmer had a growing business going. He bought a new car and built a new house and made a number of improvements around his farm. People were coming from all over the country to watch this little goat jump. The farmer had build a small motel and a number of concession stands to get more money from the people.

This was about the same time an old and wise owl came into the picture. He had talked with the little goat and learned that the little goat did not share in the profits with the farmer. He convinced the little goat, that if he could be his manager, they both could share in the profits that were made . A contract was drawn and signed and the business thrived.

Now you ask, what about the goat that was said to give chocolate milk? Don’t be ridiculous, you and I both know that goat’s do not give Chocolate Milk……
