When your age is turned around and you find you are once again young! Do not run to your doctor to see what is wrong. Call his sectary and make a weekend date with her. Do all the things you had wished you had done a long time ago. As a young person, don’t worry about the time you may spend in jail, you can afford it.
The other day I attended another funeral, this time it was a son of an old friend, he was only fifty seven years of age. As you have heard people say, Time waits for no one. When your time comes, you go!

We had left home early and thought we had plenty of time. On the way to the funeral, the female half of this couple, found it necessary to stop at a restroom just off the interstate. I sat there for ten, then fifteen and close to twenty minutes. We still thought that we had plenty of time before the services started. I thought to myself, what the hell, why not go to the bath room myself, as we got closer to the cemetery.
As we entered the National cemetery. There were bathrooms one could use. I parked, opened the door on the car, and the wind took my breath away. There were railing alongside the walks, so I got a good hold on it and worked my way towards the men’s room. It was located on the right side corner of the building. There was another side walk at a ninety degree angle that separated the building from the hand rail for about five or six feet. I let go of the hand rail and reached for the door handle to the mens room, the wind caught me and around the corner of the building I went. I tried to get back around the corner, but the wind was just too strong.
I had to go real bad now, no one was able to see me, so I opened my fly and tried to locate my equipment. I thought I had a hold on it and extracted it from my trousers. The next thing I knew, I felt a warm stream flowing down my leg and getting close to my shoe. I jumped backwards and pulled a couple of golden hairs from my groin area. Now, what could I do?
With the help of the wind, I was carried to some trees and a few bushes that broke the strong wind and was able to get back on the sidewalk and the hand rail and back to my car. Now we are late, as the funeral had started and I am a mess, to say the least.
We entered where the services were taking place and I found a place to stand way back so no one could see me. The smell was so strong that the flowers were all leaning over and falling out of the containers or baskets.
After leaving the shelter, I stood in the wind and let nature help to dry me out, as it was nature that had caused the problem to start with. A little later we visited my sister in Sturgis and then we all went out to lunch. We were use to the smell by now. Arriving at home, a shower and a change of clothing was needed to be acceptable once again. The last time I felt this stupid, I had gotten my head caught in a car window with an automatic closing button being used by a child. Saying “Daddy” what is this thing for! After the fireman left! We had a long talk………
