Is there anyone out there that cares? You are forcing the old and the poor that are on a limited income to vacate this earth. We, the older people have worked our whole lives to help build this country. We were the ones that made it so great, if only for a short time, We are the ones that fought to keep our country free and many gave up their lives, We supported the business people, paid the taxes that provided a government and programs to assist people around the world. We are the ones that made the choices for our communities to grow and prosper.
We built homes, bought cars and furniture, created jobs for many and it was going to be a good life, that is until the greedy took over. We elected people to serve in the government to make changes that would help every one. We made one big mistake, we gave them powers that they would use for their very own benefits, this was soon adopted by almost everyone in the government.
Taxes went up and up and a lot of the aged people could no longer afford to live in their own homes, that had been paid for, had to be sold and for a price that was just like giving it away. Savings were gone in no time at all. Anything that could be gotten along with out, was not purchased, Many of life’s pleasures were let go. Many people could not afford to cost of repairs to auto’s or and homes. The cost of gas to run them and they were sold or even given away. Bankruptcy was a new term being used more every day. The cost of living kept going up every day and there was no way to stop it. The great nation was going down the drain and you saw it happening, What did you do about it?
You ran to the boss or the company you worked for, demanding more money. They said “No” A group of people ( called a Union) said they could get you more money. They told the companies that unless they paid more money per hour, the people would stop working and the company would go out of business. Yes, you got the money and the price of the product or service went up. Then there was a chain reaction and everything went up in price. The rich got richer and the poor got poorer.
As prices got larger and larger, we the people on a limited income had to stop buying. We could no longer work and any investments that were had, were lost. Most people did not qualify for assistance and became so sick, they actually died in bed without any one knowing. Still, when you heard this. you did nothing, If that person was close to you, you tried to help, but it wasn’t enough.
This problem of the cost of living, growing larger each day. Is there “ No One” out there that understands this ? Back in the days when a dollar would buy a dollars worth of whatever, That dollar today will only buy what? Maybe .15 cents worth. Back when one could live on $ 25.00 dollars a week, now takes $500,00 or more.
This country spends millions and millions of dollars each day to help other countries around the world, It spends more and more money in fighting wars that are not ours. When are the people of this nation going to act? Look around and see what is happening to your own people in this country. Yes, I could use some help, but there are many people that need it more than I do.
Some of the older people have suggested, ( That once an older person is no longer able to work, put them all in a camp and gas them to death and burn the bodies. Maybe you can even find a way to get your hand on the property they had and make a profit off of that.
Stop and think for a moment, When the costs go up, Income does not. When cost go up, Income goes down. Open your eyes and see what is going on!

You people that complain about all the little things, Do something useful for those people that really need your help. I have written a number of pages on the needs of the older and the poor. It is too bad that only the blind and the deaf got the messages .
