I woke up early this morning, the sun was just breaking over the horizon and the temperature was a bit over fifty, nice and cool. Unlike yesterday, when the sun beat down on us with a temperature of one hundred & five degrees, and it made life miserable for all living things.
I decided to get up and go for a walk, before it got hot and world came alive. I drove to a small park that had a really nice pond, The ducks were up and going for their morning swim. There was so much duck droppings on the side walks and grass, It was difficult to find a clear place to step.
I sat there for a time, watching the changes that nature was making, as the sun got higher and higher, and listening to the quacks of them ducks. It was then, that I noticed something was floating in the water, not far from shore, At first I thought is was a big turtle, as it drifted towards me.
Then it downed on me, it wasn’t a turtle, It was something else. I noticed that all the ducks and other animals that used the pond, were all at the other side of the pond.
As the floating object got closer to the bank, I could see that it was a body and only the belly was showing above the water line. Moving closer to the water’s edge, I had seen this person before, It was that dumb Lady, on that English TV program, the one that they call “Hyacinth”. She thought of herself as being high society and better than anyone else. Maybe someone held her under water a little too Long. That mark on her stomach, looks a lot like a tread mark from a tire, could someone have run over her? It looks a lot like a Goodwill tire tread.
I thought to my self, what should I do? Call the police or run. I called the police and went looking for a place to hide and watch, as I didn’t want to get involved.
In a distance, I could hear the sounds of police cars and emergency vehicles approaching. Soon there was a army of people standing there, looking in the water. After getting a look, they all were walking around, like they were looking for evidence.
I thought to myself, why are they not taking the body out of the water and bringing it up on the shore.
With all the people on this side of the pond, the ducks were all coming this way. Where they see people, they will usually find food.
Come on, you guys, do something, don’t just stand there scratching your butts…..

Someone call for back up team, these guys don’t know what they are doing!

Oh oh ! it’s too late, the Ducks will have her within minutes, I wonder what else they are going to have with their meal?
